Along the way, they bargain with the Spanish-speaking bird, play a really silly game and sing original songs -- all the while learning vocabulary, verbs, phrases, the alphabet and culture.

I bought this CD a couple years ago and our kids still love to listen to it in the car. There''s a lot of everyday use type words (toys, alphabet, body parts) etc while using a creative story to introduce them. I''m buying the other Beth Manner''s CDs - Fun Spanish for Kids and Playtime Spanish for Kids and I hope they are just as good as this one!
My kids are speaking Spanish!
Just a few words but it was so much fun to hear my children say car in Spanish when we got into the car and then point to trucks and say the Spanish word for truck. All words they learned from this wonderfully entertaining CD. Bobby and Maria travel to Mexico to "find the magic flowers" and practical vocabulary words, such as car and truck, are woven into the story . Great music, well pronounced and fun for all!
