Created especially for 2 - 6 year olds - the best age to learn languages.
Fun Spanish for Kids teaches over 100 Spanish words and phrases, conjugates verbs and has an important review section. It has a system of short segments to hold the interest of the young child.
Developed with the help of parents, Spanish teachers and young children, this child-tested audio really teaches and is fun.
What you will hear:
Bobby, a little American boy, meets Maria, a little Spanish friend. He wants to learn Spanish so he can play with Maria. They start with the "Hola Bobby" song to learn each other's names. Together, they go on a picnic while learning Spanish words for foods and singing our picnic song, "Una Merienda.."
And then... they hear some animal noises! What are they....?
After counting to music, they learn the weather and seasons using lively sound effects and yet another original song. Time to listen to a fanciful, bilingual rendition of "The Three Bears," followed by the participatory stand, sit, jump and run game, played to the tune of a very special song. An important review section, with more fun sounds, reinforces what's been learned. Then it's time to say "good bye" and sing our "Adios" song.

Our four year old plays it nonstop
We have been teaching spanish to our four year old for years and are always on the lookout for great music and teaching aids, and in this we have both. Our son loves the story and songs and has played it almost nonstop since we got it a few days ago. I like how seamlessly the learning is meshed in the story line and when specific words are mentioned and translated, it is part of the dialogue of the colorful characters, which takes away the stale monotony that some learn-to-speak-spanish tapes have. The only disappointment I have is that there is no book to go with it.
Highly recommended for beginners. We listen to this in the car and every time we are about to get in, my DD says, "want to listen to Spanish music!" She is almost three. The cd is well done, the voices, music and stories are great. My DD has learned many of the phrases, counts to 20, and knows her colors. We just reinforce what she has heard with objects at home. Definitely get this one!
