Created especially for 2-6 year olds - the best time to learn languages.
Fun French for Kids teaches over 100 French words and phrases, conjugates verbs and has an important review section. It has a system of short segments to hold the interest of the young child.
Developed with the help of parents, French teachers and young children, this child-tested audio really teaches and is fun.
What you'will hear:
Bobby, a little American boy, meets Marie, a little French friend. He wants to learn French so he can play with Marie. They start with the "Bonjour Bobby" song to learn each other's names. Together, they go on a picnic while learning French words for foods and singing our picnic song, "Un pique-nique."
And then... they hear some animal noises! What are they....?
After counting to music, they learn the weather and seasons using lively sound effects and yet another original song. Time to listen to a fanciful, bilingual rendition of "The Three Bears," followed by the participatory stand, sit, jump and run game, played to the tune of a very special song. An important review section, with more fun sounds, reinforces what's been learned. Then it's time to say "good bye" and sing our "Au Revoir" song.

This excellent CD features Bobby who only speaks English and Marie who only speaks French. The format really works - my kids understand everything and it holds their interest. They just adore the "picnic" vignette and absolutely love listening to The Three Bears told in English and French. Just perfect for beginners and excellent accents. I highly recommend this one.

I have been searching for CDs / videos for my son -- 5 years old. This is the best I have found. He demands to hear it every time we are in the car. I think it is the energy . Bobby and Marie are very lively and the music is very catchy. Definitely has piqued my son''s interest in French. I''m going to try the Magic French for Kids next - just for a change of pace.
I highly recommend this original and captivating CD.
